Devi is my best friend – Charmme

Actress Charmme and music director Devi Sri Prasad were in the news for all the wrong reasons in the recent past.

Charmme who debuted to Telugu with ‘Neethodu Kavali’ directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao, gained fame in the industry with Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Sri Anjaneyam’. Glamour roles took a step back as Charmme’s acting talent wooed the audience with the latest hit being ‘Mantra’. She will be seen once in the forthcoming movie ‘Kavya’s Diary’.

Gossips always take center stage in artists’ life and when questioned about her being paired up with Devi Sri Prasad in recent headlines, she abruptly denies it.

Speculations made propaganda about Charmme’s affair with Devi and they are all set to act in a movie together. But, later both sides denied such grapevines and clarified it’s not true. Now, to put a full stop to such unwanted talks, Charmme has clearly stated ‘Devi is one of my best friends and that’s it.’

Let’s hope this frank statement of Charmme abates further gossips on this issue.
